Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Everything speaks at the end: good or evil
God rewards those who serve Him and He rewards them handsomely and publicly. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
However, every reward speaks loudest at the end. Whether it be godly, ungodly or self-motivated actions. They will all speak at the end.
One of the reasons a lot of people miss out on God's reward is because they do not understand the law of time and seasons. Rewards has a processing time.
The one who is practicing evil may appear to have everything going well for him right now (he may even win some applauds) but in the end his own due reward shall come. The one practicing righteousness may appear to have everything going against them right now (he may appear to be in the wrong way) but in the need his own due reward shall justify him. The story of the rich man and Lazarus further proves this truth accurately Luke 16:19-31
Everything speaks at the end; good or evil. So live with the end in mind. And why not? How else would your sweet story be told fully if the end is not crucial. The end of a story is more important than its beginning. So, don't worry about who appears to be smart or foolish right now, the end will speak. Don't you know that just because everything seems right does not mean everything will end right? And just because everything looks awkward right now does not mean everything will end awkwardly?
The mystery of time and seasons works perfectly.
This is not to say that things will always go wrong with the goldy - far from it. Just because things look awkward does not mean it godly and just because it is flourishing does not mean it must be evil. The point is: Everything in life including life itself progresses through seasons and times. The final product is really never seen until the very end. All we see for the most part is the process. I believe that understanding this truth and living with the end in mind sets us free from the unhealthy games of comparisons and helps us to stay focused no matter the temptation to give up.
